To our members,
On behalf of the Guilderland Chamber Board of Directors, it is with a heavy heart that we accept the resignation of Danielle Walsh as President/CEO of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce. Michelle has accepted a position with the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition. Anyone who knows Michelle knows that Veterans affairs is her top priority. This is an organization that Michelle is extremely passionate about and we certainly understand her decision. Regardless, it was an extremely difficult decision for her to make as she loves her Guilderland community.
Michelle has been a huge asset at the Chamber. She has made significant and positive changes since she has been here. The computer program that the Chamber uses has been updated to ChamberMaster, which is a program specifically for Chambers of Commerce. This was a huge undertaking and took a substantial amount of time. She added more beneficial programs for our members and increased membership in general. She has really set our Chamber up to continue to grow and meet the needs of its members.
We will immediately begin our search for a new President. They will be set up for success due to the great work Michelle has done cultivating the programs and building the membership. We will continue with the momentum she has built and wish her all the best in her new position.
