The purpose of a Chamber of Commerce is to create a community to help promote and prosper local businesses. By managing the local and regional information of the community, the chamber can provide a physical lobby where prospective customers and visitors can find exactly what they are looking for.
However, with the rise of instant information, people are turning to the internet to find what they need. Although Google® manages the world’s information, it is often not possible to index the Chamber community because the majority of chamber members are not documented for internet search.
