Guilderland, NY – The search is on to find a new leader for the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.
The position became open April 28th, following the departure of Cheryl Lasher. Cheryl is leaving to pursue other opportunities. The Board of Directors thanks Cheryl for her service and wishes her success in the future.
Guilderland Chamber of Commerce- In Business for Business
It is an exciting time at the Chamber as Guilderland continues to grow.
A search committee has been appointed by the Board of Directors and is overseeing the search process. The committee will make a recommendation to the full Board of Directors who will then vote on the appointment, a requirement of the chamber’s bylaws.
The President will report to the Board of Directors and will work closely with the Board chairperson. Some responsibilities and key initiatives listed in the job description include retaining and expanding the chamber’s membership base; attracting new and diverse businesses to Guilderland; and working with local businesses and the Town to promote a healthy, robust business climate in Guilderland.
