Mandated Sick
The Albany County Legislature has a proposed law that would impose a significant mandate on all private and nonprofit employers in the county. View proposal HERE by going to page 53 of agenda.
It would require employers with 10 or more employees to provide nine days of sick time a year, and any unused time would roll over each year. Smaller companies also face a similar mandate.
